Process of Morula and Blastula | Hindi / Urdu After fertilization, the zygote undergoes a series of divisions, forming a solid ball of cells known as the morula. The morula then undergoes a process called compaction, where the cells on the outside become tightly packed, creating an outer layer and an inner cell mass. This marks the beginning of cell differentiation. The outer layer will eventually give rise to the trophectoderm, which forms the placenta, while the inner cell mass will develop into the embryo. As the morula continues to divide and differentiate, it transforms into a blastocyst. The blastocyst has a fluid-filled cavity called the blastocoel and consists of two distinct cell types: the outer layer of cells (trophectoderm) and the inner cell mass. At this stage, the blastocyst is ready for implantation into the uterus. During implantation, the trophectoderm adheres to the uterine lining, and the inner cell mass will develop into the embryo. The trophectoderm also plays a crucial role in the formation of the placenta and other supporting structures for embryonic development. These early stages set the foundation for further embryonic development, leading to the formation of different germ layers, tissues, and organs as the embryo continues to grow and mature.
