Installation notes: 1) Removal of the front LCA spring perch is not required for this installation. The LCA spring perches (rings) were left on out of convenience and also to maintain the integrity of the LCA. They can be removed for appearance purposes but it is not required to do so. Removing these serves no practical purpose or results in any benefits other than for appearance. We will address this in KW Video Series Part 4. 2) The rubber spring isolators/insulators (P/N 101213 and 100286) and that sit between the top of the coil spring and the frame mount should be retained for use in the KW suspension. While we do not address it in this video, we recommend inspecting these upon removal of the factory springs. If they are cracked or severely deformed, consider replacing with either new old stock from DMC or newly made units from DeLorean Europe. We will address this in KW Video Series Part 4. KW Variant 2: Sporty and personalized with adjustable rebound damping. This system is designed for the driver who requires not only determining the individual lowering of their vehicle, but having the ability to adjust the damper settings to fine tune the system to their needs. Adjustable front and rear ride height. The adjustable rebound damper allows adjustment of the pitch and roll of the vehicle adapting it to one’s own driving preferences.
