Glow cups, UV flashlights, pen lights and key fob lights are great ways to charge up your glow lures, jigs and spoons while ice fishing outdoors, in your shanty or hub shelter. This hands-free glow pot accommodates everything from the smallest tungsten panfish jigs to several large spoons and 4” rattle baits at a time. For this project, you’ll need: A four inch to three inch Schedule 40 PVC reducer coupling, A four inch schedule 40 PVC end cap. A 3/4 inch cutoff from a 4” schedule 40 PVC pipe. 10 and a 1/2 inches of two-sided tape rated for outdoor use. Four 3/16 by 1/2 inch rivets with four 3/16ths backing plates. Some marine epoxy. A one inch fixed pin hinge. A 100 LED UV Blacklight Flashlight. A one inch strip of 2mm EVA craft foam. Gloss White spray paint containing UV inhibitors such as Rustoleum Ultra Cover. And optionally, some 220 grit and some 800 grit sandpaper.
