Expedition to Turret Tower Chimanimani in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe hosts the deepest caves in Southern Africa, and some of the deepest quartzite caves in the world. These mostly vertical caves were first explored in the early 90's and then they lay dormant for many years. In 2016 the Speleological Exploration Club returned for a two week expedition. Did they discover more? Come and find out! (As we're planning a return in August 2026, there must be something....)
