Ernad express || End to End Journey || Trivandrum to Mangalore || Kerala Train Vlog

In this video we travel end to end on one of the intercity trains running in the state of Kerala. The Ernad express (Train no: 16606) runs from one end of the state to the other travelling about 620 Km in a little over 14 hours. The train with effect from January, 2024 runs from Trivandrum central to Mangalore central station. This was the latest intercity train, introduced as a triweekly service in September, 2009 to provide a daytime solution between the two cities, it was later made a daily train and then extended upto Nagercoil. Due to poor patronage between Trivandrum and Nagercoil, the train has now been permanently short terminated at Trivandrum. We cover the entire state and gives us an opportunity to explore the Malabar and Ernad regions of Kerala state.
