A mother of four vanished in 2017, and while her family believed from the start that someone close to her was responsible, it would take nearly seven years for an arrest to come. Investigators eventually zeroed in on her boyfriend, Frederick Reer, after a search of his family’s rural property uncovered key evidence, even though Amanda Dean’s body was never found.
