The long standing Toh Soon Cafe at GeorgeTown, Penang is known for its rich Hainan-style coffee and charcoal toasted bread. It's one of the pulling factors that attracts patrons to flock to the Toh Soon Cafe. The owner preserves the traditional way of toasting and steaming the bread by using charcoal which is converted from an oil drum. Located in an alley off Campbell Street, Toh Soon Cafe is perpetually packed and crowded, but you will be lucky if no queue is spotted.
