Um so…I don’t know where to start with this. I binged this show in two weeks after watching like every MacDennis video I could get my hands on by skyesweetcherry (please check ale’s channel out; I’m blown away by every video) and I became OBSESSED with MacDennis but especially Mac. So I knew he was going to come out, but I still spent the whole time feeling the pain that he went through, the struggle of his sexuality and religion and body image/weight and people finding your little quirks annoying…so much of his pain and story resonated deeply within me. And then he came out in s11…and I cried. And then he came out FOR GOOD IN S12 AND I CRIED. AND THEN HE DANCED TO ABOUT HOW HE FEELS INSIDE AS A GAY MAN AND I SOBBED FOR AN HOUR STRAIGHT BC NOTHING HAS EVER HIT ME SO EMOTIONALLY IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. But seriously, I advise ALL of my subscribers to watch this show; it’s super easy to binge (13 seasons, around 10 episodes each), and it’s sooooo fucking funny. The funniest show I’ve ever watched (and this is coming from someone who fucking loves The Office). And honestly, Mac’s gay journey is something honest to god so real and so painful yet so beautiful.
