The lineup of Waft Outlaw rods are built from WAFT Micro-Tech Armored Carbon Fiber, resulting in the lightest, strongest and most sensitive and balanced blank we have ever produced. The Micro-Tech Armored Carbon Fiber enables you to feel everything your bait touches and allows you to distinguish sand, gravel, rock, mud, and sticks from fish; when a bass inhales your worm, you’ll know it.To make the WAFT Outlaw rods even lighter and more responsive Titanium Semi-Micro guides were used. These guides, made of titanium frames , do not use conventional ceramic inserts that crack or chip but instead uses our light weight low friction LRZ insert . The rods were designed with various tapers that today’s bass anglers demand, and the proprietary Weigh Management system will enable you to cast farther and more accurately and allow you to flick accurate cast on low trajectories to get under trees and docks more easily. Another feature of the Outlaw series of rods is the OPTIC-SENSE bite detection technology which involves the use of micro strands in the blank to convey even the slightest vibration.
