Close my eyes & drag me into a room with this fan cranking on full blast, and I'd say that this fan is an absolute sh*tball. But once you let me have my eyesight back, you'll probably get bored looking at me freaking out about this fan. This is one of many weird flavors of 90's CMC. Mine is in tosca green, but I prefer to call it "Asian Communist Ceiling Fan Green" due to the popularity of ceiling fans in this color in Asian communist nations. I have seen a 48" sky blue variant with my own eyes & I do own one in light green, but I have heard stories about navy blue & dark brown CMCs. I'm not quite sure why those odd color options are unpopular, but my strongest theory is that 80's - 90's architecture & interior design prefer ceiling fans that are plain white. Now let's talk about how wonderful this fan is! There is no identifying stickers on the motor, it only says the rated voltage & frequency. The only time the word CMC comes up is on the speed controller, which I forgot to show on video...oops. Other than that, this color combo is what I love the most about this fan, as you might expect. This is a fan I can't use around my house due to how weak its airflow is, but because of that, I think this fan deserves to be called decorative. Now I can hear you Indo fan fanatics typing loudly in the comments with your head steaming, but hear me out. In the year 2023, these new in box CMCs are no longer a utility fan in the eyes of a lot of their customers, instead they are novelty items that remind them of years gone by. They won't care that their CMC don't move any air, the only thing they care about is that their house, office or whatever, remind them of good old times, and that's also how I treat these CMCs. It's also part of the reason why I make custom ceiling fans. My custom fans that crank tons of air were built to allow my weaker but quirky fans to run in rooms that don't need them stressing their components. And like decorative ceiling fans, this fan works best in lower ceilings & air conditioned rooms. It will have a hard time satisfying demands to cool people down in hot & stuffy rooms, but when you only need air to be circulated gently without making much noise, this fan will satisfy you no problem. Like many of my new in box ceiling fans, this fan was purchased from KipasLampuJogja. They're my absolute go to everytime I need odd old fans in brand new condition.
