I really dislike AI Art. The thing is, I don’t even think AI art people like AI Art. Here’s why I think AI Art is really bad and stupid and I hate it, and also my understanding of what pro-AI Art humans have forgotten about human-made art. this video is brought to you by dayquil and delirium I realize most people think that AI will replace artists, but I think the general distaste we have with AI art will continue to suppress efforts to have real art replaced. It’ll definitely be a weird world when art has to be proved to be human, but that’s probably where we’re going. meh. extra note about AI streamers that I cut: I think it’s important [apparently not enough to not cut this] to also bring up the one popular AI streamer I’m aware of, and that’s Neurosama on Twitch. Her success in the beginning was due in large part to the timing of her invention in the early days of AI content on the internet, where the novelty aspect I talked about before was in full swing. Now, it's mostly due to the humor found in the interactions of her and the other people on her stream which is either the guy who coded her, Vedal, who is present for all streams, the chat talking with her, or just other streamers “she” is collaborating with. It wouldn't be anything interesting without the people involved. Of course, I can also bring up the fact that her art is completely human drawn. oh also the focus on “oc” art was a little misplaced, the same argument applies to other characters and stuff as well. thanks for ur patience waiting for this video :) im very excited to make the next one. i have a fair bit of less serious, more fun commentary on the way :)) i’m working on it right nowwww
