French personal pronouns | Les pronoms personnels are the words in the french language used instead of a noun, while reading, speaking and writing the French language. They are words that refer to individuals, whether in singular or plural form, used instead of a name. This is Learn French With Queen, and thank you for subscribing. In previous videos, we have touched on certain areas of the French language, and we are about to look into French grammar to help with your french reading and speaking skills. In this video, I looked at the French personal pronouns - les pronoms personnel, both in the singular and plural forms, that are used instead of names. These french personal pronouns - les pronoms personnel include the following: SINGULAR Je - I Tu - You Il - He Elle - She PLURAL Nous - We Vous - You Ils - They (masculine form) Elles - They (feminine form) While using the french personal pronouns - les pronoms personnel, it is important to note the masculine and feminine gender of the Ils and Elles. For females with just one masculine gender, the plural french personal pronoun to use is 'Ils' because of the male gender in their midst. Also, 'Vous' french pronoun can be used as a singular form to refer to one person with respect and reverence. So, it doubles as a singular french pronoun and a plural French pronoun. I hope you find this useful on your journey to learn french.
