In a few hours my baby girl, Kamaria, was supposed to turn 19... Honestly, my faith keeps me up, but there isn't a day that goes back that I don't miss her, wonder what more I could have done as a father, and ask God why he would take such a special person so young. Though grief hits us all with body blows daily, those that love her the most have tried our hardest to to carry on her legacy through different endeavors of purpose. I don't talk about how I feel a lot but I do write a bunch.. I miss my daughter so freakin' much it hurts. Last week at #Concert4Coats, her older sister, Jaidah, and I performed a song we wrote for her called "Lost Without Luna".. A song that my youngest daughter Zola asked me to play on repeat every time she gets into the car, each stream feeling like a needle in my heart as Zola tears up with each bar, only to beg me "Daddy play it again!" Kamaria helped me cut her umbilical cord when she was born which explains why their bond was so strong... Kamaria's name means "Moon" which is why we called her Luna. Tomorrow night, the night of her birth anniversary, a FULL MOON Lunar Eclipse is scheduled.... By accident? I think not... She is speaking to us. And it is in these moments I know that God has her and that she is speaking to us from up above. Until we meet again baby girl, a part of me will always be LOST.... Happy early Born Day, queen.  I love you.
