Autonomous vehicle, Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV), Robotics and Automation in Agriculture, Precision and Smart Agricultural Operations, Image Analysis, Image processing, Computer Vision and Machine Vision in Agriculture, Vision based & Sensor based Technology, Electric Vehicle (EV) in Agriculture Ph.D. Thesis title: Development of Autonomous Fertilizer Side Dressing Machine Ph.D. in the specialization of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, CAET, Anand Agricultural University, [2018-21] Major Guide: Dr. Pankaj Gupta Brief of Project: An autonomous machine was developed based on vision-based and sensor-based technology. This machine can be carried agricultural operations like fertilizer application, pesticide spraying, weeding, tilling, watering, seed sowing, etc. The machine was guided by vision-based technology. In this technology, an image analysis technique was used. In sensor-based technology, plants have been identified and enable the fertilizer applicator for operation. This developed machine is fully autonomous and electric vehicle-based. Achievements on Ph.D. Research Project Work: -- My Ph.D. research project has been placed for incubation support at Medi--Hub, Technology Business Incubation Center, DMAPR, ICAR. - I was a runner in the technical pitching event (presentation on Ph.D. thesis) of LJ Innovation Village LJ Institute, Ahmedabad. -- I have been awarded the SHODH fellowship -- I have been selected in zonal level competition (for a technical presentation on my Ph.D. research) in KRITAGYA AGTECH Hackathon organized by ICAR.
