World Interfaith Harmony Week 2026 in Uzbekistan | Scientific, Cultural and Educational Events

This video presents highlights from the Week of Scientific, Cultural and Educational Events organized in celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Week 2026 at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan in Tashkent. The program was organized by the UNESCO Chair in the Comparative Study of World Religions and held from February 3–6, 2026.  The week brought together scholars, students, and representatives of different religious communities to promote interfaith dialogue, religious tolerance, and human fraternity. The program included an international scientific seminar, an interfaith “Unity and Friendship” dialogue platform, a student conference on tolerance in religious teachings, an interfaith educational visit, and a creative competition titled “Faith and Unity – The Foundation of Human Fraternity.”  The initiative aimed to strengthen intercultural understanding, mutual respect, and social solidarity, encouraging young people to explore ideas of peace and unity through academic discussion and creative expression.  These activities demonstrate Uzbekistan’s commitment to promoting interfaith harmony and global cooperation for peace.
