What To Know Before You Buy The iKamper Mini 3.0

The iKamper Mini 3.0 For starters, its only 125 lbs which is awesome. Also after setting up and sleeping inside its great with the right mattress. I used a Hest sleeping pad, which is amazing. The 2" sleeping pad it weak and has no cushion, feel like sleeping on concrete. The mini is too small to pack anything inside. We tried 5 times with 5 different configurations trying to figure out the best combination what can be packed inside the tent so it would close property adn nothing worked. The ladder is very cumbersom to use as well in my opinion. I didn't find the ladder very user friendly at all. When I was in my driveway, it was easy to use, but out on the trail, completely different story because the ground is was not 100% level. When packing up the tent, if the flap is not perfectly level, the tent will not close and you have to reopen to adjust everything all over again. The opening to the entrance of the tenat is small for a tall person making it harder to get into inside of the tent. With this tent, there is definitely a learning curve. If you like hunting for old mines, structures, cabins, driving on shelf roads or challenging trails, even getting lost or stuck and back tracking to find the correct trail to complete the run, you'll love our group.
