Many students with a distance Master’s in Clinical Psychology wonder if they can pursue M.Psy. As per RCI guidelines, most universities require a full-time, regular master’s degree, making distance or online PG degrees ineligible in most cases. Currently, there is no official bridge course to transition from a distance master’s to an M.Psy program. However, some alternatives exist, such as an RCI-approved PG Diploma in Clinical Psychology, which can provide experience but does not guarantee M.Psy admission. Some universities may have their own policies regarding eligibility, but they are rare. If becoming an RCI-certified clinical psychologist is the goal, the safest option is to pursue a regular master’s degree. Staying updated on RCI policy changes is crucial, as new pathways may be introduced in the future. #MPsy #ClinicalPsychology #RCIGuidelines #PsychologyCareer #MentalHealth #DistanceEducation #RCIApproval #PsychologyStudents #PsychologyDegree #CareerInPsychology #MastersInPsychology #PsychologyAspirants #ClinicalPsychologist #Psychology #rci #M.PHILL #M.Psy #greengearups #dailymindmatter
