This is the first boss in the game that presented any type of real challenge in my opinion. That being said, Arachsiam is really not that difficult once you know what you're doing! Recommended Weapons: • Sniper Rifle for Destroying Eggs • Assault Rifle or LMG for Killing the Boss (with some recalibrations) Recommended Items: • Health • Living Armor • Butterfly Deviant probably works really well Boss Details: • Boss Vulnerability - Head and nodules on abdomen • Spit Attack - Dodge and use pillar to avoid being hit • Charge - If it runs into pillar it will be stunned, or jump out of the way • Body Slam - Once it becomes immune to damage, prepare for body slam attack • Eggs - Destroy 4 eggs on the outskirts of arena and any eggs inside the arena. Then, attack spider. It will fall off the pillar and be stunned for about 10 seconds. Once it gets up, battle loop begins again. Rewards: • Dreamcatcher Deviant - Produces Thread of Dreams, used to craft The Weaver [ Summary ] I recommend an assault rifle with some recalibrations done to it for the boss, and a sniper rifle to destroy the eggs on the outside of the arena. You should also have all tier III armor, if not, craft it. As soon as you get into the fight you'll need to dodge her initial attack. Run to the pillar and use it as a shield. Pop out from behind the pillar and nail its abdomen. Do this until it becomes immune to your attack, then watch out for its bodyslam move. It will then go up the pillar. Destroy the four eggs on the outskirts of the arena and any eggs inside the arena. Nail the spider until it falls off the pillar. It will lay there for around 10 seconds, so now is the time to delete its health bar a bit. Watch out for spiderlings. Rinse and repeat until its dead.
