GOLD RUSH UNPROCESSED: Tone Tubby evolved from a speaker repair shop in Marin County, California.  We repaired JBLs, Altec Lansing, EV’s, Jensens, Celestions, and Eminence speakers for years.  All the great names in speakers came across our work bench.  Repair parts were readily available in the past, so we saw what worked and what we liked.  After a number of years, we made a decision to create our own speaker.  Thus, Tone Tubby speakers were born. Today we offer a line that has persevered through time.  Our speakers are used by many of the famous musicians you listen to. (Please see our web site for a partial list). This is an audio clip of one of our flag ship speakers, the Rose Gold. It has a 68 oz Alnico magnet and our custom voice coil and speaker cone.
