How to Make a Tutu - DIY Easy Cosplay

Hello Gorgeous Geeks! It is finally here! How I make my R2-TUTU!!!!!! This is a super easy project. If you are a beginner to sewing and cosplay then this is a job you can tackle. Make sure you are patient with it because it will take you a few hours to complete. I have a 27 inch waist (round to 28 inches) and I am using 26 yards of tulle. Add more tulle to make it more fluffy or less tulle for more of a skirt look. Here are some measurements for reference: 20 inch waist to 24 inch waist - 24 yards of tulle 26 inch waist to 30 inch waist - 26 yards of tulle 32 inch waist to 36 inch waist - 28 yards of tulle *this is just a guide that has worked for me. When you put the tutu onto a ribbon instead of a elastic waist band it gives you more options for waist sizes. Having more tulle on the skirt will allow you to spread it out evenly and have a fluffy tutu! This tutu took me about 3 hours to sew. Make sure you just take your time and sew in a straight line.
