I had the pleasure of being granted an early sneak peak of this lovely compilation album put together by Cloudcage and a few of his buddies in the Melodic Progressive House scene. Called "Progressive Alliance: 2024," this album is described as "a love letter to progressive "chord pluck" house and trance music from the 2010s. Inspired by nostalgia, [it] will take you back to the House/Trance scene of years gone by". The album contains eight tracks from some exceptionally talented MPH producers. I'm happy to bring them to your attention now! The opening track is "Lost Memories," a bittersweet piece of melody by Fazius. Several of his collaborations with Cloudcage have made their way into Hopeful Skies before. This solo work from him is a prime example at his ability to capture soul-deep emotions in memory form.
