Here's our honest take. 🏝️ The Masca trail is often called the most spectacular hike in the Canary Islands, and it's easy to see why – towering volcanic walls, endemic Canary date palms growing where they shouldn't, and formations that look sculpted rather than eroded. The Guanche, the original inhabitants of Tenerife, used this gorge as one of their last refuges before the Spanish conquest in 1496.
