The factory, located strategically close to the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor, is designed to produce high-quality track slabs using Japanese Shinkansen technology, playing a key role in ensuring the stability and performance of the bullet train tracks. Speaking at the facility, Minister Vaishnaw emphasized the significance of the track slabs in the Bullet Train project, describing them as a critical part of the entire infrastructure. "The track slabs are an extremely important part of the project. A specialized factory has been set up to manufacture these slabs, which are produced using advanced Japanese technology. These slabs are designed with precise attention to dimensions to ensure the proper alignment and durability of the tracks.
