My Toyota Tacoma and my 80 series Land Cruiser are both great off-road trucks. Clearly, many of you feel the same! This was a video idea inspired by many of you who asked for a comparison between the two. Both have the same 39" BFG km3s, both have RCV axle shafts, 5.29 Yukon gears, ARB air lockers, Powerstop brakes, etc. But aside from the parts, these are definitely apples to oranges. However, based on your questions I'm inspired to talk about what it's like to own each truck. When planning for this video I realized that we might not ever see an offroad-specific truck quite like the 80 series Landcruiser again. That's a shame in my opinion. What do you think?
