The third day of ACT Portugal, following the track, starting in Manteigas (Serra da Estrela) and finishing in Belver/Gavião. Or so we thought, or planned. The day started poorly, with João feeling sick and having to stay behind for a couple of hours. He did manage to commence the trip and meet us right before lunch time. When we stopped for petrol, around 1200h we found out there was none available, there was no electricity in the whole country. No petrol, no phone, no electricity. We managed to fuel up in some old petrol stations that used diesel generators and paid with our last cash. Authorities expected electricity to return in 3 days. It sounded serious. We decided to head home. The next day all was normal, at least in the main cities. Gonçalo and Miguel continued by themselves, and the 2 remaining decided to continue on another day. I ended up not filming a lot, making this video quite short, even though we rode half the track or close to it.
