It would seem that Envipco-centric Stop&Shops have "upgraded" to Ultra48s. Sometimes I need to remind myself how poor these machines are. I'm still a little salty about losing my 20 cents. One of the other plastic machines was broken, with the sorter getting stuck every time a container was accepted. This also yielded potential to get extra deposits which is fun for everyone and definitely not a bureaucratic headache. As you can see, these machines are just fine and dandy with the rectangular juice bottles. I actually found a whole bunch in the trash that I was able to get the machine to accept off-camera. Didn't end up filming the glass machine as there were about 3 bottles that were accepted from the whole bag.
