In this video we will diagnose and repair an oil leak with the factory OEM engine oil cooler lines on a late model GM 6.5L diesel engine. The oil cooler lines on the later design starting in 1997 are much larger, and require significantly more disassembly to access for replacement. The vehicle shown is a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban LT K1500, but this repair is applicable to any 97 98 99 and some early carry over 2000 old body style (OBS) GMT400 model 2500, and 2000 - 2002 C3500 trucks from Chevrolet GMC and Holden with the 6.5L diesel V8 engine. Models such as Silverado, Sierra, Cheyenne, Suburban, Yukon, and Tahoe in the K1500 K2500 and K3500 configurations.
