The Arapeen OHV Trail system is located in south central Utah on the Manti-La Sal National Forest. Over 350 miles of ATV and 4X4 routes are included in the system. The backbone of the system is the scenic South Skyline Drive which is a rugged 4X4 experience for most of its 58-mile length from Utah Highway 31 on the north to the Fishlake National Forest boundary on the south Join me as I explore the Arapeen ATV Trail #71. Part of the Arapeen ATV trail system, trail #71 is listed as a more difficult trail, with a 50" section listed as most difficult. Starting at the junction of trail #7 close to Willow Lake, it winds down the canyon through aspen, pines, and meadows filled with wildflowers in spring. The trail turns into a 50" and descends into a steep canyon. The river at the bottom is great place to have lunch. The trail then steeply climbs out of the canyon and into McEwan Flat where it turns back to a 66" trail. Further down the trail merges with trail #72 and turns into a gravel road that is shared with trucks. The trail ends at the junction of Arapeen trail #7 near Ferron Reservoir. Thank you for watching!
