I discovered the awesome effects of electric buzzing long before the advent of ASMR. As a child, I found that the ALARM on my parents' old clock radio produced such a wonderful tingling feeling in my body that I took the habit of sleeping with my ear to its speaker every night. Yes, the ALARM. This is no ear-shattering series of beeps or klaxons... the alarm in this radio is a BUZZZZZZZZ sound that feels very warming, especially when turned to a fairly high volume. Even more crazy... I found that the oddball analog alarm triggering mechanism on this clock radio could easily become stuck, so that rather than having that awesome BUZZZZZ for a few minutes, I could often have it for hours. This clock radio alarm has been the best ASMR device that I have ever discovered, and I am now sharing this hidden gem with the world. I still have the GE C4315B clock radio from my childhood, and over the years, I have picked up two more. Each of my GE C4315B's seems to have a slightly different "sound" or "feel" to the buzzing alarm. I intend to post recordings of each. This is the first. If you enjoy this as much as I do, you might consider buying one of these radios and keeping it by your bed. The buzzing alarm is more spectacular coming from the actual device, although recordings of it are a reasonable substitute.
