OK OK, so I wanted all the videos on this channel to be a minute or less and this one isn't a minute or less but it's still good. Promise. This video's purpose is to show a pre-tied carry that can be worn underneath a coat or over a coat. Sometimes a little visual makes it click! They're inside on a snowy day. Woman begins with placing wrap neatly over one shoulder to hip length. She brings the other end from diagonally behind her back, across her chest, around the back again, and to the front. She gathers up the end neatly and pulls it up from underneath on her front. She ties a lark's head knot (known as a slip knot in the babywearing world) with the end over her shoulder. As she's making sure everything is in it's place, she notices extra slack on the top hem for the inner pass and makes a funny face. She follows the slack and pulls on the top hem to show where she's going to follow the slack out to the knot. Now that the carry is in place, she puts on her down coat to show the carrier will be on the inside. Thumbs up. She puts up two fingers to indicate option number 2. Without a carrier on, she puts on her coat, zips it up. Ties on the IOCHCC again using the same method as earlier. She gets her toddler and guides the toddler through the "X" seat by putting one leg into the inner pass first, spreading that pass knee to knee and brings the top hem up to toddler's shoulders. She repeats with the outer pass and toddler's other leg. She turns around so show the diagonal pass across her back is nicely spread to distribute the weight. She makes sure the waist band is spread comfortably. Turning back around, she strand by strand tightens through the slip knot while bouncing with each pull outward. She puts on a purple windmill patterned infinity scarf and pulls on her hood. Woman smiles and gives a thumbs up. Aside from toddler's boots, they're ready to go outside!
