I was looking for a tutorial on how to factory reset a Korg DW 8000 and I find out that this unit does not have a direct "reset" in the traditional sense; instead, you must load the original system exclusive (SysEx) data to restore the factory sounds. I would like to share with you a simple steps and some links of the necessary that I found. I hope you find this helpful. Reseting: -Power off: the Korg DW-8000. -Hold the 5 and 8 buttons: on the front panel simultaneously. -Turn on the power: to the unit while continuing to hold the buttons. Release the buttons. (There is no sound on the Korg DW-8000) Enable the synth To loading the factory sounds: -On the back of the synth enable the Write function -On the Front Panel Parameter 84 make sure in on number 1 -On the Front Panel Parameter 85 make sure in on number 2 You will need a Usb midi interface like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KZ3X59K?...
