In this 30 minute collage session we work slowly and intuitively - gathering fragments from distant places, whether they're from memories, emotions, old materials, or quiet inner landscapes. Collage is an act of noticing. Choosing. Layering. Covering. Revealing. In this extended process, I move without rushing toward a polished result. Instead, I follow instinct - responding to texture, contrast, placement, and the subtle pull of certain images. You'll see the full unfolding : the hesitation, the rearranging, the moments when something clicks into place. This session is about allowing separate pieces to find relationship. About trusting what you're drawn to, even if you don't know why. If you are creating alongside me, you'll need : A base surface (paper, board, or journal page) Magazines, scrap paper, printed images, or found materials Scissors or tearing by hand Glue If you create with this video I would love to hear or see what emerged for you in the comments. Reminder that I am not a therapist and these videos are for entertainment purposes only. If you need mental health help please contact you mental health caregiver or professional. BONUS : 3 questions to reflect upon for your finished project : 1. Why did I chose these particular fragments ? What drew me to these images, colors or textures ? Did I choose them intentionally - or instinctively ? What do these pieces represent in my life right now ? 2. How do the pieces relate to each other ? Are they cooperating, clashing, overlapping, hiding ? Is there a dominant element ? A neglected one ? Does this composition feel harmonious, chaotic, protective, fragmented ? 3. What is being revealed - and what is being covered ? What's layered underneath ? What did I hide, tear, crop, or glue over ? If I peeled this back, what would I find ?
