How I Color My Hair // Blonde Hair at Home

This is by far my most requested video! I have to preface this video by saying I am a licensed cosmetologist! DO NOT try this at home if you are confused about what you should be doing, in the slightest! CONSULT with a professional licensed cosmetologist/stylist BEFORE you put ANY color (box color, professional color) on your hair! Some color can be VERY hard to reverse and it will cost you A LOT of money to correct it! I have been doing my own hair for years but I also spent two years learning the proper way to do it! I made this video for people to see how I personally do my own hair at home, so you could learn the technique of breaking your base and toning at the same time. Also, I wanted to share the level of color my hair is (level 5) naturally and how I achieve the 7/8 level. This is not a video to tell you to color your own hair at home, especially if you DO NOT know what you are doing! Please do not try this at home if you are unsure of what you are doing! You can SEVERELY damage your hair if you do not know what you are doing! I hope that you can take away from this video that I am in between a level 7/8 at my base and the rest of my hair is highlighted with lightener and 20 volume developer. If you want similar hair to mine you need a base of 7/8 and highlights (a lot of them). My blonde is very light because I was previously all over lightened (base was lightened with lightener). I do not recommend all over lightening, as it damaged my hair severely. You can achieve my same look by having your stylist break your base to a level 7/8 and repeating highlights several times. There are a lot of ways to achieve the look I have but you must consult a stylist first! Please leave any questions below!
