* WARNING: LONG BACK-STORY AHEAD!!!!! FAQ @ BOTTOM!!!* Welcome aboard Delta Air Lines flight 2079 from Boston Logan Airport in Massachusetts, to Detroit-Metro Wayne County Airport in Michigan. It was a super early morning flight with a takeoff time of 5:45 A.M. I was already exhausted from having to work until 1 A.M. and getting no sleep whatsoever; so I was in no condition to be making "proper flight reports". I tried my best however to get as much possible when I wasn't dosing in and out of sleep. I was originally going to take our annual trip out to the Pittsburgh-area to visit family with my Mom and Sister aboard JetBlue that same day as a nonstop, but because of work commitments I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get the time off. Things worked in my favor I guess because I was able to snag seats on this flight and connect through DTW, a airport I've never been to because the JetBlue flight had long sold out before I got the time off. I was able to connect through DTW and get to PIT with enough time to catch my Mom & Sister's flight from Boston taxi in!... Now that you are all caught up to speed, our ride today was an earlier example of the 737 "Next-Generation" in the -800 variant, but to the average joe person who knows nothing of airplanes, it could have rolled off the Boeing plant yesterday by the condition of the interior. It was equipped with one of the latest generation IFE and wonderful accent lighting. The only downside was how scratched up my window was which made filming a pain. Still a pretty decent flight all and all. Didn't get much time to film in DTW unfortunately. because of my tight connection. Enjoy the video and make sure to like, share & subscribe!
