Kraftwerk - Metropolis (1981 Projection) Animation

From a series of fan-made Kraftwerk graphics based upon existing source footage and photos of the 1981 Computer World Tour. No official full recording of the show exists. This series has been put together using surviving single photos and short clips. This video is intended to represent these films, not recreate them perfectly (an impossible task). There is virtually no visual recording of Metropolis 1981 available. Photos seem to show a static screen, and some recall stills from the Trans Europe Express video. Keep in mind that until 1991 the visuals weren't synchronised entirely throughout the songs. I hope you enjoy!
