Peter Erskine is one of the greatest living jazz musicians, collaborated with virtually every top-tier artist in the jazz world. Erskine is one of the most versatile and in-demand jazz drummers of the past few decades. Early in his career, he played with the legendary Stan Kenton and Maynard Ferguson orchestras before, at the age of 24, joining one of the most groundbreaking bands in jazz history: Weather Report. He also played in the fusion supergroup Steps Ahead alongside saxophone titan Michael Brecker. With over 700 albums to his name—50 as a leader or co-leader—Erskine's musical adaptability, virtuosity, and aesthetic intuition shine through in every genre. From fusion music with Weather Report and Steps Ahead, to epic big band milestones like Kenny Wheeler's "Music for Large and Small Ensembles," to film soundtracks like "La La Land," Erskine has done it all. A brief but impressive list of his other collaborators includes Freddie Hubbard, Chick Corea, Joe Henderso, Pat Metheny, Diana Krall, Joni Mitchell, and many, many more! Bob Mintzer is an American jazz and fusion musician who is one of the most influential and best of the last decades. From the mid-1970s he played in numerous style-defining big bands, for example the Thad Jones & Mel Lewis Big Band or the Buddy Rich Orchestra. Mintzer's close relationship with big band music probably dates from this period; he has composed and arranged hundreds of pieces for this format since then. Since 2016, he has been the principal conductor of the WDR Big Band, one of the world's most renowned jazz ensembles. He has played with Sam Jones, Peter Erskine, Jaco Pastorius, Miroslav Vitous, Bobby McFerrin, Kurt Elling and countless more. Alan Pasqua is a Steinway artist, Grammy-nominated pianist, and professor of jazz at the USC Thornton School of Music. Throughout his illustrious career, Pasqua has collaborated with a plethora of music legends, including Tony Williams, Jack DeJohnette, Paul Motian, Dave Holland, Michael Brecker, Randy Brecker, Joe Henderson, Stanley Clarke, Gary Burton, James Moody, Gary Peacock, Gary Bartz, Reggie Workman, The Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Jazz Orchestra, Sheila Jordan, and Joe Williams. In 2008, Pasqua reunited with Peter Erskine and Dave Carpenter to arrange, co-produce, and perform on the Grammy-nominated trio album "Standards". Darek “Oles” Oleszkiewicz was born in Wrocław, Poland, and has since established himself as one of the most sought-after bassists on the American West Coast. An exceptionally active musician, “Oles” (as he is affectionately known in the U.S.) has had the opportunity to perform and record with some of the greatest jazz masters.
