Surprise Overpass Opening! Big Changes Along US 380 + New Retail Updates

It’s officially spooky season — but the real surprises are happening along Highway Three-Eighty! This week, we’re covering the entire corridor from Frisco to Cross Roads, and there’s a lot to unpack. Phase Three is in full swing, and the first big shock? Legacy Overpass is OPEN! Traffic is flowing for the first time, and the project is really starting to take shape. Next up — Teel Overpass. Crews are setting up for the next major traffic switch that starts Sunday night, with both directions expected to be open by Tuesday morning. We’ll walk through what to expect, where lanes will shift, and how this will finally connect the stretch between the Tollway and Teel. *** Corrections on this weeks video (rough week!): 1) The machine on top of 423 overpass was a concrete grinder used to smooth out imperfections. If you've driven across Legacy they did a great job, its smooth as a babies bottom! 2) Likely since this was a grinder, the dark patch of concrete on Teel was likely from grinding nice a smooth not a curing chemical. 3) HEB will be at the South EAST corner of 720/380. We had said south west in the video. We also check in on: 🟠 Naylor & 424 – wrapping up drainage and base layers 🟠 FM 720 – still steady progress with medians formed and ready for concrete 🟠 Main Street (Frisco) – new right-turn lane now open, plus final northbound concrete pours 🟠 Lake Bridge – lighting installed, bridge structure complete, and levee removal up next 🟠 Navo Overpass – just two pours left before concrete connects across the top deck 🟠 423 Overpass – outer curb sections under construction, center median complete Then we jump into the commercial and retail updates – 🏬 Walmart at 423 is officially open with a huge grand opening that included the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and Michael Irvin! 🍔 Portillo’s is vertical with a roof in place 🏦 Wells Fargo is taking shape across the same drive 🥞 Cracker Barrel is going vertical at Teel 🌶 Chili’s has a confirmed ribbon-cutting for November 3, 2025 ⛽ Murphy USA just announced a new pad site beside Cracker Barrel 🥩 HEB at FM 720 is planned and waiting for dirt to move 🥕 Sprouts-anchored center in Providence Village has an official site plan with Arby’s, car wash, and more 🍻 GOATS Arena Sports Bar across from Savannah is open, with several neighbors like Jeremiah’s Italian Ice and Peach Cobbler Factory joining soon From end to end, this stretch of Three-Eighty is transforming fast — new overpasses, new lights, new restaurants, and new places to shop are changing how people move and live along the corridor.
