The NS VIRM is the Dutch Railway's workhorse train. These double-deck EMUs operate on Intercity routes, and carry the famous yellow-and-blue NS livery. NS has recently introduced a new livery, and the latest refurbished VIRM sets are the first to carry this new "NS Flow" livery. The colors are still yellow and blue, but the design is less crowded. The interior of these refurbished sets, which began appearing in 2021, has also been drastically renewed. We rode two sets coupled together between Rotterdam Centraal and Leiden Centraal.
