Plant Sea Holly Flowers in Pots (Eryngium)

I found some bare root Sea Holly flowers at a local shop and needed to get them potted up. Though my garden is buried in snow I can plant them up in pots to put in the garden later or I can grow Sea Holly in containers. Sea Holly aka Eryngium is a tough perennial in zone 4-9 and will bring the most interesting color and flower shape to your garden. Sea Holly also makes a fantastic cut flower. When they are bare root eryngium are rather unusual and you may not know which end is up. I share planting them up in this video so you can see how it is done.
