Don’t be fooled into thinking you need more width! Nankang NS20’s: These tires last forever because of the relatively hard compound and high treadwear rating. I recommend if you’re a beginner. Federal ss595: Great tire, great grip. Low Cost. Could be used as fronts, doesn’t have the preciseness I like. Dunlop Direzza z2 Star Spec: Expensive, amazing grip and turn in response, use on as front tires only. Achilles ATR Sports: Similar to Nankang, great overall life, lacks grip. Some people prefer to have a balanced setup, but I like to run more PSI in the rear tires, which allows me to keep the tires spinning while out of grip. Tires larger than a 235 are overkill for drifting! Smaller width better compound!
