Why Do I Still Use The Line 6 Helix? + Helix 3.8 Update Tones (The Fender Super Reverb ROCKS!)

With the release of the brand new Line 6 3.8 Software update for the Line 6 Helix & HX Stomp, i thought this video would be appropriate to make! I’ve been using the Line 6 Helix since November of 2018 which marks 6 years since I’ve integrated my whole entire guitar workflow system with the Helix & HX Stomp line of products! And it has been the best experience i’ve had in the guitar modelling world! From using the HX products on studio recordings, live gigs,sessions, tours, church events, travelling with electric, bass and acoustic guitar, direct without an amplifier or using the the HX line of products with an amp, the HX stuff just works so good! As the years have gone by with new and more “powerful” modellers arriving in a short amount of time, a lot of people have asked if I’d consider switching to other options or if im scared if the HX line is gonna get “outdated”. And my response is simply “nah i don’t need to”. Why? Cause it sounds good, it’s easy to use and works for me! Simple as that. Im a big believer in making the most out of what you have and maximising it and if you can’t get it to sound good, then i don’t think its the modellers fault. And i love how the HX technology has expanded into other products such as the catalyst amps, POD Go/Express and the DL4 Mk2 which i all love!
