I needed a storage solution that could handle all the files I generate when making videos—raw footage, audio, documents, research materials, Davinci project files, and everything in between. Cloud storage? No thanks. I wanted something local, fast, reliable, and scalable. After weighing my options (and avoiding a career in storage management), I built my own S3-compatible storage cluster using MinIO with HAProxy as a load balancer.
