The UKRI Translation: Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) AHRC Proof of Concept funding opportunity aims to support arts and humanities activity that translates previously funded AHRC/UKRI projects into real world economic, societal, cultural or policy impact. This opportunity was previously known as AHRC responsive mode: Follow on Funding for impact and engagement. These awards focus on knowledge exchange, translation, commercialisation, entrepreneurial skills, and venture building to maximise the reach and application of arts and humanities research. This one-hour session introduced the newly named funding opportunity and explain its place within our wider impact portfolio. We shared key messages from the UKRI Funding Finder, including details on the opportunities scope, eligibility criteria, eligible activities and costs, and how applications will be assessed. The webinar also outlined the journey from the external evaluation of the previous Follow on Funding (FoF) opportunity, highlighting the recommendations that shaped the changes to the current approach. The webinar features a presentation followed by an interactive Q&A.
