JOÃO CAETANO THEATER: One of the oldest and most important theaters in Rio de Janeiro. Opened in the 19th century, it has hosted several plays and musical performances, and continues to be a cultural space of great importance to the city. REAL GABINETE PORTUGÛES: A true architectural and cultural gem. Founded in the 19th century by Portuguese immigrants, this library houses a rich collection of old and rare books, in addition to offering a peaceful environment conducive to reading. AVENIDA RIO BRANCO: The financial heart of Rio, we can appreciate the eclectic architecture of the buildings that surround it. This avenue is an important business center and also a meeting point for locals and tourists. RIO DE JANEIRO MUNICIPAL THEATER: One of Rio's landmarks, the Municipal Theater is one of the most important theaters in Latin America. Its neoclassical architecture and the exuberant details in its interior make it a landmark of the city. RIO DE JANEIRO CITY COUNCIL: The seat of the municipal legislative branch is another imposing building that deserves our attention. Its neoclassical façade and richly decorated interior are an invitation to learn more about the city's political history. NATIONAL LIBRARY FOUNDATION: The largest research and knowledge dissemination center in Brazil. Its collection covers several areas of knowledge, and the building's architecture is an example of modern Brazilian architecture. CINELÂNDIA SQUARE: One of Rio de Janeiro's main cultural centers. Surrounded by important cultural institutions, such as the Municipal Theater and the National Library, it is an ideal place for a peaceful stroll and to enjoy the city's cultural life. IGREJA DA NOSSA SENHORA DA CONCEIÇÃO: It stands out for its baroque architecture and rich interior ornamentation. Located in a strategic spot, on the corner of Avenida Rio Branco and Rua do Rosário, it is a historical and cultural landmark of the city. Its interior, with gilded altars and Portuguese tiles, is an invitation to reflection and spirituality. RUA URUGUAIANA: One of the main shopping streets in downtown Rio. Here you can find several stores selling clothes, shoes, accessories and electronic products. CHIC'S PASTELARIA: It serves the most famous, traditional and delicious orange juice in downtown Rio! In addition, you can enjoy a delicious pastel at the traditional Chic's Pastelaria, which is well-filled and one of the most famous in the city. BUENOS AIRES STREET: One of the main popular shopping centers in Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires Street is known as SAARA*. This vibrant area is home to several stores that offer a wide variety of products at affordable prices, from clothing and accessories to electronics and home goods. Buenos Aires Street is a veritable labyrinth of stores. *SAARA is the acronym for Sociedade de Amigos das Adjacências da Rua da Alfândega.
