I truly had a wonderful weekend at Rocky Mountain Roll. There was a feeling of fellowship between riders no matter what our styles were. By the time I left around 10 am, I was one of the last riders except for the cleanup crew. I have now been on the road for a month out of what I expected to be 3 months and it feels like the first turning point. I am still heading west. Making videos is like owning a time machine. The video was shot in august 2024, being edited in the spring of 2025 and I hope I will still be watching it in 2040. Who am I shooting for? In reality I am shooting it for me. There are certain truths I need to know I am recording. They may be just my truths, but I still have to record them. I spent most of three months traveling though the United States in the summer and fall of 2024 and it is a remarkable country, a beautiful country and I made a lot of good friends there. Ove 60% of my subscribers come from the United States… but damn it you have an unlikeable administration. The Lolo Pass is one of those roads that really are made for a motorcycle. Wonderful scenery and sweeping curves. I should have stopped early and camped but I am stubborn some days and hate to get off the road at 3 pm which often leads me to not getting off the road til sunset and having to take a motel.
