Note: Similar to 2020, this February felt chock full of creative liberation. We helped George make his University Dissertation Film "Dejection" and got to meet a bunch of like-minded creative people who adore filmmaking, and we had an all-around great time. I started to feel the germination of my identity coming back... evident by my liking to wear blue and yellow more. It hadn't taken full hold of me yet, but I could feel my confidence coming back. CHAPTERS: 00:08 - 1st February: On a mini MARVEL marathon, we got around to finishing "Avengers: Infinity War". 00:20 - 2nd February: Netflix's new Animated Show "Hazbin Hotel" came out and we got to celebrate the appearance of our good friend @DavidToons in the official credits for the show. Me and Emily also made our way down to the seafront to spend some time together. 01:31 - 3rd February: At strange request, Harry allowed me to photoshop him bald with no beard and; unsurprisingly, it was nightmare fuel. 01:41 - 4th February: We made our way into London to break the journey to Chichester up a bit. We went to the Natural History Museum (a must) and got some takeout delivered to our hotel room. 04:30 - 5th February: Leaving our comfy hotel bed, we made our way to Chichester, but not before our train got cancelled and we had to take a new one. When we got there, we met @jackathyT for; we think, the first time and all went out for some food after picking up the camera kit. Once I got my hands on it, I immediately felt like I was back at college. 08:05 - 6th February: "DEJECTION" DAY ONE! We filmed a few hospital scenes and got the chance to mingle with a bunch of George's University friends. We then did some beautiful evening shots for the film and went to one of the regularly occuring 'Carluccio's' eat-ins. 12:47 - 7th February: "DEJECTION" DAY TWO! A rainy start to an otherwise brilliant day shooting some Chapel scenes, meeting Jess and a few others who'd quickly become fast filmmaking friends. After a bit of a rest, we headed to the shop to buy flowers for the next set of scenes. 17:19 - 8th February: "DEJECTION" DAY THREE! More chapel scenes with the extras today brought on some fun setup for another evening shoot with lots of hilarious moments with Jack, Jess and Annie. In the evening, we watched an assortment of movies (Deadpool, CARS & Revenge of the Sith) while I fulfilled a goal of cooking my BBQ Bacon Burgers for a group of people; much to George's enjoyment. 22:56 - 9th February: "DEJECTION" DAY FOUR! After a quick breakfast and a bit of introspection, I joined the crew for another day of filming. This time, we went to a creepy old building filled with decaying oddities and filmed some more scenes for the film. I got myself another Hard Drive (KaiHDD7) and we headed back home where we recorded a few funny animation audios. 27:40 - 10th February: With the filming finished, we took the kit back to the University and George helped dig out an old PC that I planned to 'frankenstein's monster' with my old PC to give to Harry so he could get some of his editing done. We went to Tim Hortons for some lunch and the usual Carluccios for a final wrap meal. We then got George some nuclear gummy bears. 20:38 - 11th February: A morning spent listening to birds reminded me of those silent moments of childhood where nature was the soundtrack; the moments we're so sure just 'don't happen anymore', when in reality, we're just moving too fast to listen to them. Jack shows us some of his first YouTube videos and then Emily and I head back to London for our stopover before returning home. 32:56 - 12th February: A final morning in London before heading home led to us being very well-informed on "Inspector Sands" at Victoria Station. 35:28 - 13th February: After trying to get my old PC to boot up, I learnt a few new things before it ultimately told me straight that it was dead. Luckily, I managed to salvage the hard drive, but that poor PC had run its course after eight well-worked years. We ended the day with pancakes. 36:05 - 17th February: I got sick, so had the chance to test out a new Spider-Man bath bomb that Emily got me. 36:24 - 19th February: Hot soup and award shows. 36:39 - 20th February: I watched the entirety of "Ghost Rider" whilst animating for a friend. 36:46 - 21st February: We celebrated Mark's Birthday and watched a bit of Randy Feltface and BAD BATCH. 37:13 - 22nd February: I found one of the first online stick-figure animation sites I ever used as a kid. 37:27 - 23rd February: I watched the entirety of "Bugs Life" whilst animating for a friend. 37:35 - 24th February: To close out the month on a gentle note, I got some nice shots outside, feeling good about knowing the pigs in the wood have lived a fruitful life. 38:28 - 28th February: We watched "Finding Nemo", and Emily made a new little animatic for her TikTok Page.
