The Index likes to take a different approach to a species lore where possible, not just looking at the facts as they appear but trying to create an unified image of the species. This is incredibly relevant to the Gorn, this lizard-like species appeared in the Star Trek TOS episode Arena, a primary theme of which was not to take things at face value, but always dig deeper. ...Which is just as well as there's only 1 prime timeline event on which to base all this speculation. This is the Cultural Index a series aimed at exploring various Science-Fiction species.
