Hello y'all! This is the B-side to one of my first uploads, He Bore It All. The Rangers Quartet was a group founded by brothers Vernon and Arnold Hyles. They both were in the V.O. Stamps Quartet at different times before the Rangers. They founded the group in 1936 as the Texas Rangers along with baritone Walter Leverett and tenor George Hughes. In 1938 Denver Crumpler, who was with the Stamps Melody Boys, replaced George Hughes and would remain with the group for 15 years. They made their first records in 1939 under the Decca label which included this song. I had some problems with digital artifacts in the making of the video which are not present in the original audio files. So sorry for the poorer quality here, but hope y'all still enjoy!
