Wekfest Japan 2025 | Bagged Ferrari F430, Honda Beat, WRX STI & Epic Builds (4K)

The Wekfest season in Japan is always special and arguably one of the most exciting dates on every car enthusiast’s calendar. Some of the finest cars from across Japan and even South Korea make the trip out to the Chūbu region (Central Japan). The city of Nagoya plays host to this iconic event at the Port Messe Nagoya Exhibition Hall, a venue more than capable of handling the sheer wave of cars and people that pour through its gates during the Golden Week holidays. With an event of this magnitude comes preparation that starts months in advance. Personally, I love seeing owners busy, usually tucked away in their garages, spending most of their waking hours working on their cars and dialing in that fitment. Around this time, some can’t commit to shoots because they’re working on something major and want it to debut at Wekfest, while others already have Wekfest ready builds and actually have the time of day to shoot or do whatever it is I’m asking of them. I feel blessed to be around these folks who believe in my vision and stay patient throughout the process. Since Wekfest to me is basically a confluence of all these crazy cars and builds, this year’s feature includes a Bagged Ferrari F430, a sublime Honda Beat Kei car (Perfectly balancing cute and aggressive, just the way a Kei car should be), a Toyota 86, a WRX STi, and a F87 M2. The shoots were a lot of fun, as you can imagine, so much so that I even threw in some behind the scenes iPhone footage in the end credits. Big thanks to everyone I met while filming at the venue, from quick hellos that turned into long chats, to catching up with old friends and making new ones. Thank you for an incredible year and for giving me something I’ll always cherish. I hope I’ve done justice in showcasing some of the moments we witnessed at this year’s event.
