In this video I machine and install a precision fence for my GridPlate fixture plate system. The goal of this system is to make CNC setups faster, more accurate, and repeatable by allowing accessories like fences, dogs, vises, and stops to register directly off the grid pattern. This particular fence indicated dead zero across the plate on the first install, creating a reliable reference edge for workholding. The GridPlate system is part of a larger project where I am building tools, fixtures, and products in my small shop and sharing the process along the way.
